How long does it take you to cook a recipe?
It depends on the recipe, right?! If it’s an Omelet, it can take from 5 to 20 minutes. If it is a Risotto, it won’t take you less than 30 minutes and can go up to 2 hours.
The difference between an Omelet and a Risotto is how fast the main ingredient gets cooked.
It’s the same thing with video creation.
The time varies depending on the ingredients used to create the video.
A professional video company can give you options based on your budget and urgency. Let’s see an example, shall we?
Option “A” would be less expensive and faster. Option “B” would be more expensive and take longer.
The other two main factors that influence the time required to create a video are:
- The length of the script
- Stock Illustration Images Vs. Illustrations created from scratch
Both are very straightforward time influencers; the longer the script, the longer the video will be so more time will be necessary to create it. And creating illustrations from scratch takes longer than finding them on stock image websites.
With all these variables, a whiteboard animation video can take from 2 to 8 weeks to be created. And the cost goes from U$ 300.00 to U$ 20,000.00.
Alternatively, you can create the video yourself. I know, you probably have never created a video before and have no idea where to start. But what if I tell you that there is a way to build professional videos in two weeks or less, even if you don’t know how to remove an image background?
How? Instead of spending months learning complex video animation tools, you use Keynote – the Mac equivalent of PowerPoint. Keynote is very easy to use, has beautiful design elements and is excellent to create simple animations.
Besides, you will have a lot of fun doing it, learn a bunch of new skills, and save money. Also, I will answer any question you have until you are happy with your video.
